Student visa applicants for courses below degree level — including foundation and pathway programmes — must achieve a minimum of 40/100 in each of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Student visa applicants for degree-level study and above must achieve a minimum of 60/100 in each skill. This is the most common requirement for university applicants we coach.
Some universities and postgraduate programmes set a higher institution-specific bar of C1 (75/100 per skill). Always confirm the exact requirement with your chosen institution.
